Volunteer

When we had our yard done many years ago, the landscaper over planted (astheydo). I pulled out 3/4 of the plants the second year in. I tend to let volunteers grow if they are in a good area. This one was and today I noticed it had some blooms on it. 

I don't know which plant this came from, but I am going to let it "bloom where it is planted". This whole cluster is no bigger than my thumbnail. What a delight it was coming across this beauty.

I am grateful for the little surprises that nature gives me.
