Lost in Thought

Breezy on the top!

A day of contrasts ...

While Gill went to the quilt festival at the Three Counties Showground I went up onto the Malvern hills at British Camp.  By the time I had walked up there the sunshine was bright and not the best light for landscapes ... but good to be out in the fresh air all the same.  The fresh air was, however, moving at quite a rate so I had to find hollows to stand in to have any chance of holding the camera still.  I did take  the travel tripod with me but every time I put something down the wind took it off for a tour of the hills so I decided opening the rucksack might only descend into a stressful exercise!

Quickly processed in Lightroom - must get on and read through John Gravett's book on Landscape processing.

Thanks to everyone who visited my journal over the weekend - hotel WiFi not the best for returning comments!   Everyone seems to like photos of James & Ariadne so two more in the extras from a trip into Malvern in the afternoon,  feeding the ducks and coffee in Cafe Nero.
