The sun made a brief showing as we turned for home at New Barns. The sun is migrating southwards, and soon its set will not be visible from this location. But then it will be soon be setting in the Bay as seen from the top of the Knott and Jack Scout, my favourite time of the year for sunsets.

Otherwise it was a quiet day, a wet and overcast morning, improving as the day went on. Tomorrow is a big day for a discussion of progress.
