Two-Thirds

This cheery quartet is lacking two other cousins, W and B, who left earlier today, after many hugs and good wishes.

From left to right, you see me with my cousins L2 and L1, who are twins, and their older brother K. I'm grateful to L1's husband for taking the photo and catching all of us with eyes open!

We were warmly welcomed this moirning at the small Methodist chuch where L1 and her husband are members. The church's handbell choir, a number of whom also sang in the chancel choir, performed beautifully. Our own female trio had a pleasant walk in perfect autumn sunshine this afternoon, as well as time spent delving further into our shared family history.

I've added a photo of cousins B and W, who left for their respective homes this morning, so you can ponder the full range of our shared grandmother's and grandfather's genes.

A long day ahead on Monday, as I leave here in late afternoon Eastern Standard Time -- early afternoon in Bellngham -- and land in my home airport a couple of minutes before midnight local time -- 3 a.m. Eastern Standard Time, to which I've become accustomed.

Phil's smile will be ample reward!
