Blairmore owls

Every so often a new tree-stump carving appears somewhere in the Dunoon area. These relative newcomers are at the edge of the recently established community garden in Blairmore, and stand looking out over garden and Loch Long.

Not so long ago this was an area of rough grass and intrusive foreign weeds in the centre of the village, used by random dogs and their owners . Now it’s an attractive area with some lovely little wooden houses and other quirky structures to entice small children as well as children who are too tall/wide-shouldered to enter their doors. And the view is sill stunning ...
