Good for you

Thought I’d share another ‘where I live’ photo today.  Colour in abundance on this low cloud drizzly day.  This blueberry field is one of many growing in the rich soil of the agricultural Fraser Valley.   Right now most of the bushes look like they’re on fire as the shades (depending on the variety) vary between orange and red.

British Columbia represents more than 700 growers of premium high bush blueberries producing upwards of 77 million kg (170 million pounds) of blueberries annually.  We are the largest high bush blueberry growing region in the world making blueberries Canada's #1 fruit export.  Blueberries are valued for their high levels of antioxidants and besides being so good for you, they are yummy!
