Quod oculus meus videt

An Experiment

One of the things I love to see on Blipfoto is the experimentation in imagery.  Many of them I recognise and have tried in the past but MegL's post yesterday used a technique I've not seen before.  Pep Ventosa is a San Francisco based Spaniard who deconstructs and re-constructs photographs to create 'new visual experiences'.  It produces painted like qualities to his imagery.

I decided to have a go having read a little bit about the technique.  I was in Wolverhampton to drop a car of for a vehicle recall check, had a couple of hours to kill and found myself in the underpass near the combined courts.  This tree was in some of the planting I'd never realised was inside the roundabout where the Metro lines crosses the inner ring road.  I can see where this can go but realise I have a way to go before reaching the quality demonstrated on the original artist's site.
