Hare Hill

I have stopped doing voluntary work at Hare Hill until my knee is well and truly on the mend, but I did go this lunchtime to take some photos.

Hare Hill now closed for the winter and so that is an opportunity to do jobs which would otherwise disrupt visitors.  One job for this winter is to drain the ponds to sort out the drainage and to clear out rotting vegetation, tree branches, etc.  They started pumping today.

The head gardener wants before and after photos, so what better job for me :-)
