Santa Cruz Warrior Damion Jones scores early in the sold out G-League home opening game. We love our Warriors--it was the 32nd straight sellout audience. Game went to overtime and the Warriors lost by three points, but it was a lively evening and we all got bright goldenrod extra-large T-shirts.

This was taken from quite far away: I love my little Lumix DMC SZ50 zoom. Sadly, the electronics are getting wonkier and wonkier. It often switches to movie mode when I zoom, and at the game it seemed to spontaneously jump out of Sports mode into another scene, causing the flash to go off. I don't know if it's worth trying to fix it, but I'm going to have to do something sooner or later. It's easy to miss a shot while screwing around trying to correct what the camera's done on its own.
