Satisfying stream

Actually, although this little burn running down the hillside in Edinburgh Botanic Garden is in every way pleasing, what satisfies me on this occasion is the capture of the water - for some reason it looks more real than on my previous attempts at water photography.

We had a glorious - if chilly - walk in the gardens this morning, having got up too late after our festivities last night even to contemplate church. The colours were so splendid that I'm adding an extra shot to show the complete range at a particularly beautiful corner.
