The Edge of the Wold

Mist

A different view of Arnside Tower from yesterday's blip of it silhouetted against the sunset. Here it is several hundred feet below the top of Arnside Knott where Gus and I had gone to watch the sunrise. There was a tide of morning mist flowing from the low-lying marshy ground where I had been stood yesterday afternoon, over the raised ground on which the Tower sits, and then streaming down again towards Morecambe Bay where it vanished.

I seem to be a day behind with my uploading blips, this is back blipped on 9 October.  Thank you very much to everyone who commented and gave stars and hearts to the Tower silhouette.
