Sunrise at Zattere

I was up with the larks this morning (though I don't know if the larks were present) to catch an early morning boat across to the airport. There were several photographers along the waterside armed with tripods ready to photograph the sunrise. Mostly they were just starting to pack up as I was a little late for the actual sunrise. As can be seen from the photograph the sun had just risen.

Some splendid views of some of the Venetian buildings lit up in the early morning sunshine, but not best photographed from sea sprayed windows.

As we left Zattere a cruise liner was just coming in, and probably left again in the evening.

No problems during the journey back to Aberdeen.
