Another Day

It has been a very typical Saturday.

Mealplan, shopping list, farm shop... you must know it off by heart. It has changed radically in fact, as a result of my new job. I have to eat out 4 days a week. I'm still trying to find the right solution to what's best for me to eat in the morning, at lunchtime and in the evening in this new routine.

I got 2 hours of work done in the garden in the middle of the day, which is rewarding, particularly as the temperature was 3⁰ with that cold wind still there to make it feel less.

Persuaded a neighbour to let me watch the rugby on TV in the afternoon. I'd pay money to watch this Scotland team, win or lose. I haven't felt like that for 20 years. I wouldn't pay the kind of money they want (£75 for good seats or £35 for a worm's eye view) of course.

Apart from that, I've forced myself to relax and do a bit of nothing. Tomorrow will be busy.

The Blip is the Lomond Hills seen from the farm shop. A good place to go hiking at this time of year, but not today.
