Light through the lily flower

I think this is a Calla Lily, though I'm not sure.  It was a birthday present last May from my daughter and it's still going strong.  I've moved it upstairs as the conservatory can get very cold at this time of year and this morning the sun was lighting up the white flowers, so I thought I'd take my photo early while the light was good.

A lovely lunch and pre-Christmas meet up with Jude and Jan at Ponti's at Fox Valley.  It was good to catch up and discover what they've been up to recently and what their plans are for next year.  Jude has a new grandson (her 2nd) and Jan has plans to get herself into a productive printmaking frame of mind again.  I think I need to join her.

I tried loading my digital images to the Yorkshire Salon this morning and failed!  HT who runs the salon has been really prompt in replying this afternoon.  I'll just have to try again tomorrow.
