6 November 1984

TT could hardly move this morning and was in a lot of pain.  He stayed at home today, popping pain killers.  I dropped BB off at breakfast club and headed for the train.  It was packed, and there was barely standing room.

Work was busy once again.  I managed ten minutes at my desk to eat my lunch, but that was about all the time I had to myself.  The day certainly passed quickly.

I headed home to collect BB from badminton and we then went home to see how TT was.  He was in much the same position on the sofa as when we left this morning but he wasn’t in as much pain – thanks to the drugs.

A quiet evening all round.

I spotted this as I headed for the train tonight.  A trial for this I think. The date in the window is 6 November 1984.
