Thwarted

LH had booked his special birthday's gliding fun for today but sadly when we arrived we found it was really too cold and no real breeze to help. (Extra is a grounded glider to prove we were there!). Unfortunately we'd already left home by the time they tried to phone and let us know. But never mind. LH now booked in for next March (!) and the views off the Long Mynd were wonderful as always.
Coming back up our drive the sun went behind a massive bank of cloud. I'm so pleased LH wasn't up there! It really wouldn't have been fun even if it did look very dramatic.
The other extras are one of a group of ponies who were nonchalantly milling around by the roadside (a youngster gave my car a good sniff when I stopped!); and the gift bags - done at last!!
