Worse for the weather

Well we are home, and boy was it cold when we landed last night.....2 degrees, with an icy wind that cut through my tee and lacy cardigan, didnt take a coat :-/ We could not get into the taxi quick enough!!

The washer and dryer have worked overtime all day, as has the central heating, the smart metre beeped to say we had exceeded our usuage hours ago!!! Everything ha been washed and dried now, even some ironing done, god love him!

We've done a supermarket shop, thermals and fleeces were donned! We caught up briefly with three of our neighbours, alls well :-)
As it is so chilly we've had soup for lunch, no salads in sight today.

Not much time for photography today, just a quick survey of the garden this morning, not a lot of colour just now, other than this droopy rather frosty forlorn nerine bowdenii.

Pasta for dinner, after Strictly It takes two.

Amazing how quickly you slot back into day to day life isnt it :-/
