Life through the lens...

Tiny Tuesday, Seasonal

The boxes are down.
The lights have been checked, and actually all are in working order.
The tree will be collected tomorrow, and my helpers will be here on Friday to decorate the tree.
It will soon feel like Christmas in our house.

This figure is one of a set of tiny wooden ornaments I have had for many years.
I usually hang them on silver twigs in the kitchen window.

We have had a disappointing day.
Instead of going to York, we decided to visit the Christmas Market at the Halifax Piece Hall.
Well we would have done if there was one, but only two stalls, a burger van, and coffee seller does not make a market.
We weren't the only disappointed people.

So we had a walk into the town. Looked round the shops, and enjoyed a nice coffee, bacon sandwich, and toasted Christmas panettone.

Missed all the action of the announcement of the Tour of Yorkshire route, which we have just seen on the TV.

Not a bad day, but wish we had gone over to York instead.
They really do have a great Christmas Market.

Christmas Cracker joke No. 5

How will Christmas dinner be different after Brexit? No Brussels.
