festive hair

After work today I went to get my hair cut. Usually this is a bi-annual event, but this time I felt the need for a chop after only three months. Anyway, it's always lovely to have a chat with Michael, my hairdresser.

The salon was looking very Christmassy - I took this from outside, standing in the rain (not really good for a hairdo).

Met up with D, who had caught the bus into town earlier to go to the hospital for an "end of an era" tea party with his former colleagues. Everyone is about to move to the brand new hospital on the opposite side of Dumfries. I hope the handover goes smoothly..

Then we picked up Luke from Screwfix. It's his birthday tomorrow and he will be cycling to work before 6am :-)
