After the Hail Shower

7.2C with rain and hail showers. Wind WNW to 40 mph all through the night with constant gusts to mid 50s mph peaking at 66 mph between 11am and noon.

Storm Caroline. The main storm area was well North of us.

Fergus and I went for a walk after lunch. We went round to the harbour and pressed on out Kilkerran road as far as the Goldsmith's studio. There were two hail showers as we walked, and pretty much nowhere to get any shelter. I was very glad Fergus had his coat on. Not that he seemed to bother, but I am happy that he wouldn't have got too cold in the hail and the wind.

We came back the same way in a dry spell, along the street side of the park and came home through town passing the town hall and the bookshop (open).
