Gazania

They've been a while coming out but finally the Gazanias are flowering in the veggie patch.  We are really enjoying seeing so much colour in with the veggies and I believe the Gazanias are there to stay.

Thanks to everyone for their heart felt comments yesterday.  It had been a very emotional couple of days for me and Alsacienne's generous gift of following up my request was just what I needed.  Sadly on Wednesday a very dear friend passed away.  I posted an image of my friend Mee-na on the 28th of May last year.  It was a joyful image as I was meeting up with my old walking group and I had surprised my friends by turning up at their breakfast venue in Balmain after they had finished their walk.

Any person who could count Meena and her husband Frank as their friends were blessed.  They were such caring and heartfelt people.  We are all devastated at her passing as it was only 5 months ago that we heard of her diagnosis.  It always made me feel very proud and happy when they would tell me how much it had meant to them to walk with me.  We traversed many tracks around Australia and New Zealand in particular and I used to love their company and their friendship.  This flower is in memory of you my wonderful friend.
