Heading home

Still cold but the wind has just about disappeared. Road conditions were pretty poor on my journey from Lewis down to Harris and it took me 2 hours to get to Leverborough from the westside of Lewis. Snow showers continued throughout the day.

The scenery over the Harris hills was spectacular but nowhere to park so that i could get photographs. The parking areas were full of snow and hadn't been used and i didn't want to pull in and end up stuck and missing the ferry home!

Already starting to lose the light when i took this just after 2pm. Near Northton in Harris.

Good to be back home with (almost) proper internet and central heating.
