Across Scapa Flow

Looking across the Flow to the snow covered hills of Hoy.  There seems to be a rota of Orkney blippers taking photos of them, so I hope I'm not causing trouble!  

Very icy and frosty again this morning, but it had all melted by lunch time.  Ollie and I were out for a walk between showers, but just when we got up on to the cliffs, I could see the clouds gathering and we got very wet on the way home.  No snow, just wet sleety stuff, and my new waterproof trousers were absolutely useless!  

Mike has been very busy in the spare room.  The artex is all gone, it's all plastered and painted and he's fitted the ceiling lights.  Tomorrow we go to town and buy wood for the shelving!  And perhaps a Christmas tree . . . !
