Late night journey

After a morning of paperwork in my new study , an afternoon in Rothesay which included a surgery and an evening addressing a public meeting about #Brexit in Dunoon I am now in my way to tomorrow’s JMC meeting in Whitehall .

I had never joined the sleeper to Euston from Fort William at Arrochar but a number of people from Cowal have said how convenient it is so tonight I tried it.

Admittedly the platform was a little cold ( it fell to -4.5 degrees in the car on the way across) and the train was ten minutes late ( which makes you wonder what you would do if it didn’t come as happened to constituents of mine in a blizzard at Crianlarich one night) but now I am getting ready for bed and hope to wake up in London.
