Remains of the Snow

For those of you who don't live in the Midlands - this is snow - over a week after it fell.  It's still here!  and only going very very slowly.  On Friday 8 Dec the snow came as a white and icy deluge.  Now it's white with bits of black and is still very icy.  Now, if you look carefully, you will see a black rubber mat under the pile of snow.  That was shovelled out of the way of our front door on the Saturday with the snow and we thought we had lost it forever.  Now, just over a week later, we have found it again and it is appearing very slowly again!  These little things please me.  I know.  A bit sad.

If you are following the story of the washing machine, SHH found a little washer thingy that wasn't a washer thingy but a blank thingy that he had put back in place thinking it would let the water through and it didn't...  He feels a bit embarrassed by it all , so if you see him, don't mention it...  Hee Hee!  In my eyes, he deserves a promotion from SHH for everything he has done for the family, essentially my family, over the last few weeks, so I am going to create a new title for him.  He is now VSSHH.  Very Superior Super Handyman Husband.
