Flame tree

Illawarra Flame Tree (Brachychiton acerifolius) in Mitcham shopping centre.  Generally it doesn't grow all that well in Adelaide - not enough rain, but, as you can see, this year it's magnificent.  In a perfect world there would be a purplish blue Jacaranda right behind it.
