Right on cue

Every year, on the first morning following the Winter solstice, the Xenomorph worms spawn. They decorate themselves with colourful marine plants and then, as the sun, rises they crawl out of the sea onto the beach to mate and to lay their eggs in the sand. Not many people have seen this spectacle!
