Christmas Dinner vegetables

All done now. Finished off the day with Midnight Eucharist at Bearsted Parish Church, we walked there and back just to round off the day.

A good long walk in the morning ended at the allotment where I dug the veg for Christmas dinner and later in the week.

Shortly after lunch we went to an open house for mulled wine and mince pies, first time we’ve been for a few years as we’ve been up in Edinburgh for the past few Christmases.

Back home it was time to wash, peel and prepare all those vegetables and cook dinner while Susan made mince pies. We eventually got Doreen sorted and down here but it took some time.

Enjoyed a wee dram before a very late bedtime. It was so late I suspect some children are already awake looking for their presents.
