Winter Landscape

The low light catching the tops of the stalks of willowherb in the snowy, shadowed foreground leads the eye over the rooftops to the fields and distant snowcapped hills.
The extra was taken with a 300mm lens, virtually from the same spot, and shows a detail of the landscape on the hill seen in the main photo in the centre of the hill range.
