Into the New.

A lovely sunny day today, such a contrast to yesterday, and not too cold or windy. No sign of storm Dylan - yet!

After church I took a look around the garden and saw this Hamamelis coming into flower as usual. In the early autumn it was the first to turn brown and lose its leaves. I wondered if it was at the end of it's life but as you can see it is full of new buds and flowers. A great sign of promise for the New Year.

Have a lovely evening seeing the old year out, not sure I will make it to midnight, think I've picked up a bug from daughter Grace.
