Samantha The Pink and Grey Galah

Met up with Josh's mum for lunch at a lovely restaurant which was attached to a small rather exotic and exclusive garden centre with lots of interesting plants.

Also interesting was Samantha who was in her cage which was like a house - and the front door was open! She came out to greet us and allowed us to rub her head and tickle her under the chin, she was so friendly and a real sweetie.

Another lady walked in as we were making a fuss of the bird and said rather sadly "she always bites me!" We didn't believe her until she gingerly came forward to give her a rub and bam she nipped her hard on the finger! We all got such a shock and Samantha looked very pleased with herself as she shook her head as if to say 'Oh no you don't!" ;o)

Apparently she only I likes 'certain' people and J and I were the favoured ones today :o)

I totally forgot it was Thursday, haven't missed an Abstract Thursday for a long time!!
