Where the Light Gets In

Yet another submission (I think it'll be the last one!) to Markus's Experimental Photography challenge for this week, Low Exposure/Nature.

Very low exposure indeed: I set my camera at ISO100, kept the aperture at f/2.0 just because I like it, and lowered exposure quite a few stops. Hence the rather fast shutter speed for the low natural light available (I only left a sliver of light filter under the roof window's shutter).

I do believe I've found a rather nice combination to achieve the chiaroscuro effect that is often the result of low exposure.

In other news: WE ARE COMING TO LONDON AGAIN! :-)))))

We'll be visiting from Thursday, 15 February until Monday, 19 February. I'm looking for suggestions of accomodation for that period (hotels, b&bs, air b&bs etc.), and we hope we'll be able to meet as many of you as possible, not necessarily (actually, preferably not) in a big Blipmeet, but individually or in small groups (so that we can really talk). We're sure to visit favourite places such as Camden Town and Hampstead, and a few bookshops, and we'll probably go to exhibitions that will be on at that time (I'll keep my eyes peeled for the Photographers' Gallery's exhibition, they're not announced yet), at the Tate Modern (the Modigliani exhibition will still be on, yay!), the V&A or the Science Museum...

Do tell me, London blippers, if you'll be around then and if you want to meet! That would be lovely...
