Third Bird of the Year

This Male Northern Flicker landed on our fence at the beach and I got a photo just as he was about to fly away. He is so beautiful. I think Flickers are majestic birds. Big and Beautiful! 
We had to go the Beach House today to move our boat out of the storage garage we have rented for many years......the building was sold so we had to move the boat to the side of our house.....luckily there is an area that is perfect to store it, expect it is now outside in the weather.....but it is a boat, right? It is used to the water so rain and wind shouldn't hurt it. :-))  We may buy a cover for it.....but maybe not.
