Frustration.
Have the squirrels or rats nibbled our telephone cables in a duct up the road and is there a cosy nest lined with chewed cables, as has happened before? We are having a constant battle trying to get decent broadband speed like our immediate neighbours whose houses were built before and after ours. The usual download speed is under 2Mbps with upload speed under 1 Mbps when we get a connection. BT and other providers say there can be no improvement until Openreach install a new cable. Despite very many conversations with them they say they will not do it. Meanwhile I sometimes have to use public free wifi and now in a supermarket cafe here I have a download speed of 69.68 Mbps and upload speed of 5.93 Mbps.
