Only two left

Unless we find a stash in a cupboard somewhere that we have forgotten about, these are the last of the Christmas chocolates (I do recall there is an unopened box of chocolate biscuits somewhere however; must investigate).  Very nice they were too, and I can confirm that no chocolates were harmed in the making of this Blip.  No, they were both severely harmed immediately afterwards.

An interesting morning at my first meeting of the North Bucks Arts Society.  W went two or three times last year and persuaded me to come along.  They have a monthly talk by very high quality speakers; this morning it was Gavin Plumley, a writer and broadcaster on Radio 3 & 4 and contributor to the Independent on Sunday and the Guardian, with a talk about the artist Gustav Klimt.  Whether or not you are particularly interested in the subject (and I have to say I knew little about Klimt) it is fascinating to listen to an interesting talk by an expert in his subject.
