On Dawlish Warren

It was a glorious morning with sunshine and blue sky. We went for a walk at Dawlish Warren NNR. There were lots of birds around in the scrubland and woods and we carried on to the end of the sandy spit of land which is where the blip was taken. It’s looking towards Exmouth on the other side of the estuary. Just as we got back to the car it started to pour with rain so we got the timing right!

This afternoon we went to Bowling Marsh Nature Reserve where we watched waders and ducks on the pools. I was sorry to see a Black-Tailed Godwit with only one foot. I hope that it will continue to manage with it like that.
