'Ghost like' owl

Called in at Little Critters, the birds of prey and small animals centre in Stirling Dobbies.
 
There were lots of photo opportunities but in the end I chose Jessie, the 15-year-old Snowy owl.
 
Snowy owls are natives of the Arctic regions and have a ghost like appearance.  They have keen eyesight and great hearing which helps them find prey invisible under the snow.
