blooming of the christmas cactus

still going strong - almost heading into february and i still have blossoms - on my cactus - it makes me remember my grandmothers christmas cactus - which got passed down to my mama - and it ended up living in her bay window - for nearly 50+ years blooming - about more than half of every year - during most of those years - i think mama just managed to - find the most ideal spot for that plant - and it flourished like no other i have ever seen - when you can get a christmas cactus to bloom - more than half the year i'd say - that's enough to call just one of those...
