Cutting a Mount

I was given a mount cutter for Christmas plus all the bits needed to go with it. Today I set aside some time to learn how to use it; it's really good fun. There was quite a steep learning curve to getting the corners of the bevelled insert accurate and tidy, although it is really a case of care and attention to detail. There is a print competition this coming week at my Buckingham Club so motivation to print and mount my entries. I must now decide which ones and I have the freedom to make them any size I like now that I can cut the mounts.

My practising is shown in the blip where I cut rectangles getting bigger and bigger just getting used to the cutting and corners

It's February now so I can have a glass of wine this evening!
