Grangemouth

It was a beautiful crisp winter’s day so we decided to go West Lothian and go up Cairnpapple Hill, a wee Marilyn. As most Marilyns do it had a great view, especially to the north where the Highlands were visible covered in snow. Unusually there was no brown haze from Grangemouth and it was easy to pick out the hills. We then went up the even smaller hill of Cockleroy where the blip was taken. You can see Grangemouth and I reckon this would be a great place to come at twilight as the lights and gas flares would make a good blip. The Kelpies are visible in the picture just below the left most chimney, but I doubt if they will show up on blip.
