Cruachan and Loch Awe

The original plan for today was a Corbett in Glencoe but the forecast wasn't good so we opted for a much smaller hill between Glen Lochy and Glen Orchy. It might have been small but it was very steep with quite a bit of snow, soft and slidey lower down.
A wet early morning cleared and we were rewarded for our efforts with great views, esp across toward Loch Awe and the surrounding hills, with swathes of cloud lower down.
Mr Rat had gone for a long run along part of the West HIghland Way and we met up again (also with another friend who'd done a WHW walk) in the cafe at Tyndrum for refreshments and chat.
A good day out
