Ramblings and Mutterings

Sense of Excitement

Rugby may not be my first love anymore, but you still get the sense of excitement when the 6 Nations Championship comes around again.

I enjoyed the hospitality of friends to watch both games, it was a good day.

First up was Wales v Scotland, I thought it would be a close game but Scotland would come out on top.  How wrong was I?  It was a blow out and Wales played with style and scored 4 tries, and it could have been more.  I felt sorry for Scotland.

After a break for a beef and ale casserole, the second game of France v Ireland was dull and boring.  Ireland winning it at the death.

To top the day off Cardiff Devils won in Belfast, to make it a 3-point weekend over our nearest rivals in the league.  The Belfast weekend last season set us up for a great end to the season, hopefully it can do the same again.
