My Girl

Yesterday was a tough day for our daughter. She faced her fears bravely until we reached her new school, were she broke into tears. She felt very insecure because she knew no-one there and didn't know if she'd be able to make friends. But after holding her a lot and with the help of her wonderful new teacher (in fact, almost the entire staff of the school came to encourage her, and then even her class came out to greet and welcome her), she disappeared into a cloud of loud chattering.
Today will certainly be easier.
