Auditions for BGT

Sadly, I didn't get to go, but Mollie did, at The Lowry Theatre in Salford today. I've just been speaking to her and she said it was a great experience. A friend from her class had a spare ticket - so lucky Mollie! She saw all the judges, some good and bad acts, plus a couple of other celebrities!

My day was far more mundane. Pensions, pensions and, oh yes, more pensions. I was in by 8 and left at 5.30. What isn't done by 4 tomorrow will have to wait a week. I don't enjoy the work when I'm racing to get ahead, knowing that after one short week off, I will be wading through a weeks worth of post, and feeling stressed about how I'm going to get back on track. But that feeling is a week away.

We had a family meeting this evening to decide on a campsite for our holiday. I think we've decided, so I need to get on and book something now! We've decided on a shorter holiday than we usually have, as there will just be 3 of us and also Jon has limited paid annual leave. 10 days should be enough. So Daniel and Mollie, if you are reading this...you have time to change your minds!! We have an awning.....
