Street Corner , Derry

On a series of Ministerial visits the chance to get away and simply look at ( or even see) where you are is always difficult. Too much has been arranged ......

However tonight in Derry between arriving after a three hour drive from Dublin, a meeting with the local MP and a dinner with members of the Chambers of Commerce ( arranged by my old friend Dennis Bradley) I managed to get five minutes to walk up towards the Bishop’s Gate.

This glimpse of St Columb’s Cathedral was from one of the street corners.
