Blossom on the plain.

What with the rainy cold weather and my wife's leg in plaster we have been confined to an indoor life. This afternoon the rain stopped, the clouds cleared and we decided to take a drive into the countryside to see the almond blossom on the plain near Santa Agnes.
It was a lovely afternoon topped off by a drink and a slice of carrot cake at a small cafe with views across the valley. S was able to manoeuvre herself up the steps to the cafe with the help of her crutch.
Grateful for sunshine and beautiful views.
