The Fraeylema Estate

Today started early. I arrived in complete darkness in Slochteren, at the carpark of the Fraeylema Estate. First a securitycar arrived, then Ron and Herman arrived as well and we took of to get some autumnphotos.
Before we entered the woods, we captured the castle of course. It dates from the middle ages and is situated in a country-park that dates from the 19th century and is laid out in English landscape style.
It was great fun being there for a few hours. Too bad the restaurant nearby was still closed when we left. The coffee and apple pie will have to wait (again).

Have a great weekend all!
