Hobbycraft

Another busy day today!
I had a couple of Sing and Sign taster sessions at Fringford Village Hall first thing.
It was such a lovely venue with brilliant displays about the Fringford men - boys really - who died in both world wars. It was very moving to think they went from such a beautiful peaceful village to such horrific ends.
And there were also displays about Flora Thompson and the BBC adaptation of Lark Rise to Candleford. So interesting!
After the two sessions it was home to walk Archie and then hotfoot it over to Hobbycraft in Milton Keynes to get Miss L's obligatory helium birthday balloon for tomorrow, some crafty bits (because she really can't get enough!!), a gift voucher for my mum to give her, and a couple of canvasses which Miss E wanted to buy as her present to Miss L.
Laden with all my goodies there was just time to go home, drop it all off and head back to school to get the Little Misses.
Miss L first and then to Miss E's for a Friday night cafe visit. They played out in the freezing playground, I stayed in and read the paper in the warm!
