Travelled up to Inverness this morning with the forecast for rain and winds, the weather gods weren't playing and I had heavy snow for most of the journey with Dalwhinnie pass a real challenge, thought I was stuck at one point as the traffic slowed to a crawl with lorries struggling on the inclines.
Today's blip is of Beauly Priory from the inside. Dating back to 1230 and built by French monks. There are actual tombs within dating back to 1497, which gives strength to the old Scots saying "yer a long time deid".
I wish I'd had more time to explore but I try to stop during my lunch to get my blip....then back to the toils thereafter. It is my moments sanity in the day when I get the camera out.
