Over to the Manifold Valley

The snow had largely gone overnight, but there was still a very strong wind and it felt below zero. We set off over the Hil at Ecton and down to the Manifold Valley,which has an excellent bike route along a former light railway, and then back past Thor's caves at Wetton. The main image shows the beginning of our walk, looking back to "our" farm, which is in the background at the centre.
